Especially during the cold months when the need is greatest, FACCES volunteers show up to support the FACCES Fresh Market. These events are hosted on the second and fourth Miércoles of each month, rain or shine, from 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Some may find less interest in volunteering during inclement weather, but our amazing volunteers understand that hunger knows no season. There are families in need of food year-round, and our arms remain open to serve the community.

As food prices rise and access to grocery stores becomes increasingly challenging, many families struggle to obtain affordable, nutritious food. The consequences of hunger and malnutrition are far-reaching, affecting health and overall well-being. Food is a basic human right, not a luxury or privilege. Everyone deserves access to nutritious food, and we are dedicated to making this belief a reality.
