SUMMARY:Food: Urban Gardeners Gathering - Exploring Native Birds & Backyard Birding
DESCRIPTION:Join FACCES for a special Urban Gardeners Gathering in partnership with Growing and Growth Collective (GGC)\, centered around nature exploration\, learning\, and community connection. This month’s theme\, Native Birds & Bird Watching\, invites families\, youth\, and community members to discover the beauty and importance of local bird species right here in our environment. \nDuring this gathering\, participants will take part in a guided bird walk\, learning how to identify native birds\, understand their habitats\, and explore the role they play in our ecosystem. After the walk\, we’ll get hands-on by creating DIY bird houses—a fun\, take-home activity that helps support local wildlife and encourages continued learning at home. \nWhether you’re a curious beginner or a nature enthusiast\, this is a great opportunity to slow down\, observe\, and connect with the world around you—together. \n✨ Come ready to explore\, create\, and connect with nature! ✨ \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
