DESCRIPTION:Self-guided groups are welcome in the Garden during opening times 4:00 pm. – 5:00 pm. We ask you register your group in advance. Note: these visits do not involve garden employees. \nOnsite resources are available to support your exploration of our garden. \n\n\nExpectations\n\nTeachers\, family heads and chaperones are responsible for ensuring the group’s appropriate behavior throughout the entire visit.\nChildren and youth must be accompanied by an adult at all times. We recommend you break into small groups\, with one adult per every five to seven children/youth.\nPlease have your young ones stay on the paths at all times. This is true in the greenhouse and while visiting our outdoor garden.\nPlease stagger your visits to the restrooms to avoid overcrowding. DESCRIPTION:In partnership with Starting Point Learning Center\, the Life Ready Ohio Afterschool & Summer Program\, supported by 21st Century\, is up and running. We were thrilled to support the young adults in our community in achieving their goals. Graduating is a very important for students\, and we are here to support their endeavors. We offer an individualized approach in a warm and friendly environment. While we prioritize Marion Franklin students\, we can accept other high school students as space permits. SUMMARY:Food: Urban Garden Tour
DESCRIPTION:Self-guided groups are welcome in the Garden during opening times 4:00 pm. – 5:00 pm. We ask you register your group in advance. Note: these visits do not involve garden employees. \nOnsite resources are available to support your exploration of our garden. \n\n\nExpectations\n\nTeachers\, family heads and chaperones are responsible for ensuring the group’s appropriate behavior throughout the entire visit.\nChildren and youth must be accompanied by an adult at all times. We recommend you break into small groups\, with one adult per every five to seven children/youth.\nPlease have your young ones stay on the paths at all times. This is true in the greenhouse and while visiting our outdoor garden.\nPlease stagger your visits to the restrooms to avoid overcrowding. There is access to a portable toilet during garden hours.\n\nLunch Areas\n\nGroups are not permitted to eat in the greenhouse.\nStorage space for lunches is not available.\nYour group is welcome to eat in our outdoor garden space. If eating in these spaces\, please bring trash bags to “pack-out” your waste. Email confirmation is required if you are planning to have lunch during your visit.\n\nGetting to the Garden / Transportation\nSchool Buses\nLOADING and UNLOADING must occur at the front entrance of the greenhouse at sidewalk. Buses and large vehicles are prohibited from use of driveway with underpass under all circumstances. \nPublic Transportation\nFACCES is at COTA Plus On-demand transportation Southside stop. \nCota Bus Stop ID: 4659 Line 4 Koebel & Lockbourne Rd 43207. \nParking\nPark on the North side of Starting Point Family Center.
