SUMMARY:Mental Wellness: Family Group Session - Positive Intent
DESCRIPTION:March Session Preview: Positive Intent\nOur upcoming Family Group Session in March will focus on a mindset that can shift communication and strengthen relationships—positive intent. When family members choose to believe that others’ actions are rooted in good intentions\, it creates space for patience\, understanding\, and connection. \nPositive intent doesn’t mean ignoring challenges or behavior that needs to be addressed; it means pausing before reacting and choosing curiosity over assumption. This session will explore practical ways family units can: \n\nAssume goodwill before jumping to conclusions\nPause and reflect before responding\nCommunicate needs without blame or defensiveness\nStrengthen trust by giving one another grace\n\nWhen parents model positive intent\, children learn how to navigate conflict with empathy and confidence. They begin to understand that mistakes are part of learning—and that home is a safe place to grow\, repair\, and reconnect. \nJoin us in March to explore how leading with positive intent can reduce tension\, improve communication\, and build stronger family bonds. \nWe hope to see you there!

SUMMARY:Food: Movie Night with FACCES Urban Gardeners Gathering!
DESCRIPTION:Join FACCES and Central State for an afternoon of connection\, conversation\, and cultivation at the Urban Gardeners Gathering. For March\, we’ll be enjoying popcorn and watching a film called Restoration Agriculture. We’ll also explore how gardening intersects with culture\, community wellness\, food access\, and generational healing\, and how reconnecting with the land can inspire personal growth and collective well-being. \nEveryone is welcome\, from novice to expert level gardeners. The FACCES Urban Greenhouse is a safe\, wheelchair accessible space. Bring your questions as well as your pointers as we discuss action plans for the next growing season. We invite feedback on what you would like to plant and harvest. \n \n
