At FACCES, we believe food is more than nourishment; it is care, stability, and a reminder that none of us are alone. Every month, families receive food directly to their doors through our Fresh Market Delivery Program. For many in our community, delivery isn’t a convenience — it’s the difference between having fresh food or going without.
Some neighbors no longer drive. Some live with disabilities or chronic illnesses. Some are older adults. Many are balancing limited transportation, tight budgets, and caregiving responsibilities. One neighbor shared that our deliveries and the monthly check-ins that come with them are the highlight of their month. Another shared that without delivery, getting fresh fruits and vegetables would be nearly impossible.

These stories remind us of a hard truth: when deliveries stop, food access stops for many in our community.
Right now, we are working to protect this lifeline. Due to recent funding cuts, our ability to continue Fresh Market deliveries is at risk. We are reaching out to our community, partners, and supporters to help sustain this program and keep fresh food moving door to door.
This is about more than food; it’s about showing up for one another. It’s about dignity, stability, and making sure hunger is never the cost of circumstance.
