When Jordyn first came to FACCES in 2024, neither she nor her mom, Johannah, could have imagined how much it would shape their journey. What began as a work assignment quickly became something deeper, a place for Jordyn to grow, learn, and find her voice.
Johannah shared, “I love that Jordyn is in a positive and safe space where she’s able to learn life skills and work skills. FACCES gives her the confidence and encouragement she needs to step into her future.”
Over the past year, Jordyn has truly come out of her shell, becoming more outgoing and verbal with peers and community members. One of her favorite FACCES memories was March Dadness, a community event focused on celebrating families and togetherness. “It was fun seeing everyone come together and enjoy the day,” Jordyn shared with a smile.
You can often find Jordyn in the Saturday Café, greeting guests with a warm smile while making lattes or helping the other Life-Ready Teens craft brunch-inspired dishes. Through her time at FACCES, Jordyn continues to grow her confidence, creativity, and passion for community.
