The TALC Series (Teen Adolescent Leadership Conversations) is a teen-led, youth-powered conversation space where young people come together to talk honestly about the issues that matter most to them. Presented by teens, for teens, TALC creates a safe and welcoming environment for listening, learning, and leading—without lectures, scripts, or adult-driven agendas.
Held on the third Wednesday of each month, TALC invites youth to hear the perspectives of their peers, challenge assumptions, and learn from one another’s lived experiences. Each session begins with teen-generated questions, some silly, some serious.
“Who would win in a battle “A Rock or The Rock?”
“What does it mean to be a good friend?”

These questions are shared ahead of time to spark curiosity and reflection. From there, the conversation unfolds naturally guided by youth voices and shaped by what participants care about most in the moment.
TALC is more than a discussion—it’s a leadership experience. Teens practice communication, empathy, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving as they explore topics impacting their lives, schools, families, and communities. By trusting young people to lead the dialogue, TALC empowers them to see their voices as valuable and their ideas as catalysts for change.
When teens lead, conversations deepen and connections grow.
