Friends of FACCES 2026: A Night to Celebrate Community

Behind every family served, every child supported, and every program delivered is a community of people who choose to show up. Friends of FACCES is our opportunity to pause, reflect, and celebrate the individuals, organizations, volunteers, donors, partners, and advocates who help make our work possible. Whether you’ve volunteered at an event, shared our mission with a friend, donated, attended a program, or simply cheered us on from afar, you are part of the FACCES story. At FACCES, we believe strong families build strong communities. Every connection, every act of kindness, and every contribution helps create opportunities for families to thrive. Friends of FACCES is a celebration of that collective impact and the relationships that fuel our mission each day. This special evening will bring together supporters from across our community for an opportunity to connect, reflect on the accomplishments we’ve achieved together, and look ahead to the future. October 2026 Faces of FACCES: Elizabeth Grimes

For October’s “Faces of FACCES,” we are excited to highlight Elizabeth Grimes! She has experienced FACCES firsthand, as she has been an active participant in all its programming for years. “I’m a part of this community, and I love the involvement, I love the resources, and I am so thankful that this is a choice that we can make and that we have,” Grimes said.  Over the years, Grimes has taken advantage of many FACCES programs and events, particularly those focused on family support, mental health, financial wellness, and community engagement. She appreciates that families can access a variety of resources in one place, including information about childcare, healthcare, food access, and financial education.  An area that has been especially meaningful to Grimes is the financial empowerment series. “In the economy we’re living in, we want to manage our money… Let’s learn how to save and budget so we can
