📣 Columbus City Schools Lottery – Key Info & Dates
The CCS School Choice Lottery lets families apply for their student to attend a school other than the assigned neighborhood school. You must enroll your child and complete the lottery application through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Applications for the 2026–27 school year will be accepted February 2 through March 31, 2026. Applying by the deadline puts your student into the official lottery drawing; late applications go to the end of the waitlist. Don’t forget to finish your child’s online registration early so you can access the portal in time! To learn more general information, visit the CCS webpage!
🧩 February Family Fun Challenge – Build a Silly Machine!
This month, use things you already have at home to build a complicated machine that does a very simple job—like ringing a bell, knocking over a cup, or turning off a light. Think dominoes, books, string, spoons, boxes—anything safe you can find! Everyone can help: builders, planners, and even one special person to start the machine.
It might wobble…It might fail…You’ll probably laugh a lot.
No cost. No pressure. Just fun problem-solving together on a cold day!
