March Madness is all about buzzer-beaters and brackets but at FACCES, we’re celebrating something even bigger. So… what’s March DAD-ness?
This March, FACCES invites families, caregivers, community partners, and local businesses to March DADness, a celebration honoring fathers, mentors and male role models who inspire the youth!
The celebration kicks off on our basketball court, where games and activities set the tone for the day: teamwork, encouragement, laughter, and shared moments that remind children they are supported and never alone. Families will enjoy quality time together, while vendors and partners have the opportunity to connect with the community in a meaningful, engaging way.
For many children, a father or father figure is their favorite teammate, the one who listens, cheers them on, and helps them keep going when things feel hard. March DADness centers children while uplifting the powerful role caregivers play in helping young people feel safe, confident, and valued!
Through play, connection, and intentional family time, families will experience legacy-building moments—time to reflect, dream, and talk together about the values, goals, and traditions they are creating. At the same time, community partners and vendors become part of that story by showing up, offering resources, and supporting the families they serve every day.
At FACCES, we believe strong families are built on meaningful relationships and strong communities grow when organizations, businesses, and neighbors come together to support them. March DADness reflects our commitment to creating spaces where children feel seen and supported, caregivers feel celebrated, and partners feel connected to the impact they help make.
The event will also feature food, music, and community resources designed to help families connect, access support, and celebrate together. From engaging activities to vital services, March DADness is built to uplift the entire family while highlighting the valuable work of local vendors and organizations.
We are calling on local vendors, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners to be part of this meaningful day.
